Disney World!!!

Julie was invited to attend a conference in Disney World for work.  And I was so lucky to be able to come along and be part of this cool experience.  We both have wanted to go so bad in the past.  Unfortunately we had to leave the kids home.  Hey, don't feel to bad for them, we already had a Disneyland trip planned for mid Oct.  My mom came and spent the week with the kids, while Julie and I flew off to Florida.  We flew out on Tuesday, September 18 and flew home on Sunday the 23rd.  Unfortuately for Julie she had to attend a conference during the days, but don't feel to bad for her, because she got a back stage pass to see how Disney does customer service.  Meanwhile, as Julie was at conference, I went and explored.  We always met up at night and had a great time together.  Disney World was a real cool experience.  I think the Animal Kingdom was my favorite; probably because it was different.  Here are a bunch of pics from our experience in no particular order.  Hope you enjoy!

Yes, we had the whole vehicle to ourselves on the Dinosaur Ride.

Imitating the King of the Throne Idol.

Animal Kingdom with the tree of life!

What you can't see are our badges.  Julie's said, "Celebrating Being Awesome!"  Mine said, "Celebrating Being With Awesome!"

Posing in the Epcot.
At the Magic Kingdom!

Imitating the I Look Hot Idol.

Bus ride to our hotel.  We were so excited.

This is where we stayed.  It was at the Disney Yacht Club.  It was a fantastic hotel.  We could walked to the Epcot.  We took a boat to Disney Hollywood Studios and took the bus to Animal Kingdom and the Magic Kingdom.

On the one of the rides.

Ok, this is little miss Julie winning round one of Buzz Lightyear.

This is Kirk getting revenge during round 2!!!
One day while Julie was in conference, I played the coolest Mini Golf course ever.

I also went to Typhoon Lagoon and snorkeled with the sharks. It was cool, I did it three times.

Best part of Disney World was that the pickles only cost $1.50!!!  At Disney Land they were $2.85 a piece.  What did this mean?  Double the pickles for me!!!

Coolest tree ever.

Hanging out at Downtown Disney, trying to avoid turning into donkeys.

Satisfying my inner caveman.

This was such a fantastic adventure together.  Hope we have many more in the near future.  Thanks for letting my tag along Julie!!!

Love the Ballpark!

I recently attended a conference in Ontario, CA for work on Sept. 11-13.  It was a three day conference.  I really enjoyed the conference, very informative.  However, the best park of that conference was that I got to go to a MLB game and watch the Anaheim Angels play against the Oakland A's.  I can sit and enjoy a baseball game at any park, but MLB games are awesome.  I even got to see Albert Puljos homer, and see Mike Trout for the first time.  Here are some photos from the game.

I went early to watch batting practice and to try to get a foul ball.  Didn't get one, but came awfully close.

Oh, these sacred grounds!!

Chloe's Huge Week

Not only did Chloe start her first day of Kindergarten yesterday, she lost her first tooth today (with a little help from the magic touch of her mom).  Bring on the tooth fairy!!  Julie just sent me these pictures; I had to post them.

What a beautiful smile!

The First Day of School 2012

The older four children started school on August 22.  Brooke - 7th Grade, Brin - 6th Grade, Carson - 4th Grade, Cannon - 2nd Grade & Chloe - Kindergarten.

Chloe actually started a week later.  I was able to take her to her Kindergarten Orientation where she met her teacher and got a tour of the school.  She was so excited!!  She said to me, "Dad, I am so freaking nervous!"
Love my children.  They really all try so hard and are good students.

Boys Night at Pizza Hut

Last Saturday, my wife put on a cool baby shower for one of our neighbors.  Well, after helping set up, the boys and I took off for a boys night out.  Pizza was their choice.

My boys waiting patiently for the order.

We had a fantastic time together.  And I do love Pizza Hut pizza!
